Tom Brady Is Prepared to Earn a Cryptocurrency Salary

Tom Brady expressed his admiration for the world’s progress toward crypto acceptance in a podcast with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. He stated that he supports players that take BTC, ETH, and Solana tokens as part of their payment.

Tom is a seven-time Super Bowl champion and quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He posted a SiriusXM podcast with his friends on his official Twitter account yesterday, in which he revealed that he would love to get paid in cryptos. He also stated that the world’s transition to a completely digital future based on cryptos is great.

Brady isn’t the first person to become involved with cryptocurrency. He and his wife Gisele B√ľndchen made news in June when they bought a stake in FTX. He remarked at the time that the FTX team had opened his eyes to a world of limitless possibilities, which he found fantastic.

Player Adoption of Cryptocurrencies in the NFL

Tom Brady isn’t the only NFL player to have dabbled in cryptocurrency in recent years.

In December of last year, Russell Okung of the Carolina Panthers said that he would be converting half of his paycheck to Bitcoin.

A tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs, Sean Culkin, has declared that he will invest his paycheck in Bitcoin, following in his footsteps. Russell’s major news was announced in April, less than five months after this statement. The New York Football Giants established a partnership with crypto-based business Grayscale a month later.

The Impact of Crypto Adoption in Sports on the Crypto World

After a surprise move to Paris Saint-Germain, soccer star Lionel Messi signed a contract that stipulated that he would get a portion of his income in BTC. The club, on the other hand, refused to reveal the number of cryptos they gave him. Finally, however, the NBA Kings’ owner agreed to pay players in BTC in April.

Crypto adoption in major sports like the NFL, soccer, and basketball will greatly influence the crypto industry because of their massive fan bases. In addition, many people will be interested in learning more about cryptos because they want to follow in their heroes footsteps.
