Lloyds Banking Group, a British retail banking giant, is looking to hire digital currency specialists.
According to BYP Network job postings, Lloyd’s Banking Group is looking for suitable applicants for a digital currency and innovation senior manager, who should be knowledgeable with financial technology services and the present market, as well as for cryptocurrencies and associated technologies.
Lloyd’s job description stated:
“The outlook for digital assets has evolved considerably as several factors have combined to make them ready for the possibility of wider use. While central banks are aggressively studying digital currencies, regulatory clarity is improving. 86 percent are conducting pilots, and some geographies, such as China, are on the verge of becoming live.”
According to Lloyd, the company’s payment liquidity and settlement are led by a newly created risk department. In addition, the candidate for the position of senior digital currency or cryptocurrency manager will be responsible for developing payment use cases based on the company’s “global network of bank relationships” and doing commerce or investing in digital currency.
This role pays a starting salary of £59,040 per year, with a bonus of £87,600 per year, or $120,000. And the job would be based in one of three cities: Birmingham, Edinburgh, or London.
