The publicly traded firm confirmed that it already owns bitcoin.
According to an emailed statement released Tuesday, Brooker will invest in more than 15 high-growth firms, including Binance, Uniswap, and Filecoin.
According to Variety Bulakul, head of Brooker’s digital asset division and international business finance advisory, there is a responsibility to invest in new technologies or risk being left behind as the industry matures.
The firm also owns bitcoin (BTC, -3.57 percent), with first-quarter assets of 122.315 BTC valued at around $6.6 million.
According to the announcement, Brooker’s digital assets will be kept on exchanges like Coinbase and Binance until it selects a custody provider.
