Ripple Executive Unveils Bitcoin, XRP, Ethereum, and 10 Other Altcoins Keeps Crypto Portfolio

David Schwartz, chief technical officer of Ripple, draws back the curtain on his portfolio of cryptographs.

The XRP Ledger’s initial architect lists his top holdings of cryptocurrencies by scale.

He states that his primary assignment is XRP, followed by Bitcoin and Ethereum.

His next-largest position after that is in the Simple Attention Token (BAT), followed by Stellar Lumens (XLM) and Cardano (ADA).

Polymath (POLY), Bancor Network Token (BNT), Kin, Crypterium (CRPT), StormX (STMX), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), and EOS are next to arrive.

Schwartz says his ideal portfolio does not actually reflect the coins he carries now.

“Note that this is not necessarily what I’d chose to hold now, I just kind of wound up here due to airdrops and other circumstances.”

In the crypto industry, Schwartz has a long history. He announced he sold 40,000 ETH last year when it was valued at just $1.00 per coin. The sum is now worth $30.6 million to Ethereum.

“My decision to derisk was made in 2012 or so when I discussed investing in cryptocurrencies with my wife. She insisted we agree on a derisking plan right then. And I must say that every Bitcoin I sold for $750 or XRP for $0.10 hurt.”
